Hi Tony,

Unfortunately, that may happen from time to time. I suggest contacting the carrier to confirm delivery and content Amazon seller support to see if they can help. Otherwise, you may just have to eat the refund.

Yes, your account would then be negative.

I recently received a return request where the customer stated that the ‘item was never delivered’.. however when I look at the tracking it shows ‘item delivered’. What do I do? It is beyond frustrating that I may lose the item AND have to pay for a refund. So unfair.

Do I have any recourse?

Hi Robert,

You can see this information under “transaction view” in your reports in Seller Central.

Hi,

Yes, that is a delicate situation. If Amazon refunded you, then you don’t need to worry about anything. Just ignore the seller.

Question, was the order Prime? Or did the seller ship you the product?

I’ve never had this issue before. I bought an item around $500 online. It wasn’t what I’ve expected. I initiated a return but Amazon says return is not allowed for this item. After reaching out to customer support, they issued the refund and said I cannot ship back to it being hazardous (I assume due to having battery) so under their policy that I do not return it and to donate, get rid of it, or do whatever with it. I didn’t need it so I just donated it. But then the seller threatened me to return it using their prepaid label or else they will contact local authorities. I reached back out to Amazon confused and they told me to ignore the seller. I’m at a confused situation here. Never had this issue in my life and am not sure what to do at this point. I don’t want no one knocking at my door…

Hi Shweta,

Unfortunately, that is the case with selling products online, especially fragile items such as a vase.

Customer had ordered a marble vase from me the product was delivered in a perfect condition but customer returned it and when the product was returned it was broken Amazon deducted all the money. When I tried to claim for that transaction I got a reply that I will not be reimbursed for the product that I have received.
