If you use your Facebook account, do you have to have a business account or can you use your personal account

Hi Rachel,

The influencer program is an extension of the Amazon associates program, so you can use your link on your blog and add affiliate links throughout your articles.

Very helpful article! If I was accepted as an Influencer (through Instagram), but also have a connected website/blog, am I allowed to post my storefront link there as well? Also, if I’m an Amazon Influencer, am I also an Associate by default?…I’m trying to determine if I can use affiliate links on my blog articles in addition to having the storefront available on my Instagram. Perhaps that is a separate application? Thanks again for all of your information!

Can you use someone else’s account to get past Facebook business eligibility issue, if I had a business’s permission to use it or do they ask verification questions? The business isn’t probably going to respond to these.

In reply to Patrise Paradis. Hi Patrise, Is your channel fairly new to YouTube? Unfortunately, Amazon does not give specific requirements, so I suggest waiting a little longer until you build up your audience while consistently posting content on YouTube.

I was accepted into the Amazon Affiliate Program a few months ago for my Youtube channel but I’ve been trying to apply for the Amazon Influencer Program but keep getting denied. I only have about 590 subscribers currently but its growing daily. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong! Should I wait awhile and try to reapply or is there some trick to being accepted that I’m just not doing correctly? I can’t find anything that gives a list of requirements that I’m not meeting. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I was planning to use my FB account but the Amazon Influencer sign-up page requires that the FB account must be a Facebook BUSINESS Account.
