In reply to Kristina Rozenblit. Hi, Yes, you can add any brand name you wish to your Amazon listing, but Amazon will likely require proof. Meaning they will need to see a photo of the product or packaging with the brand name affixed to it. You do not need to get a trademark to use your brand name.

I have notebooks I’m going to sell on Amazon. All the notebooks are the same but the color. I have five colors so I bought 5 GTIN barcodes on GS1. How do I list the product? Once I do, how do I send my product to FBA?

Hello !

I am launching my very first product on Amazon.

I have a question about the “Brand name” space.

I don’t have a trademark yet. Can I give a name (new Brand Name) to my product, to put on it as Amazon requires and this will be ” Brand name”?

No need at this point to register a trademark, right ?

I don’t want to sell under “generic” because I want my product to be protected at least with a Brand Name.

Could you please clarify this point ? Thank you !

Hi Stephie,

If you already added the product in Seller Central, there is no true way to delete it from Amazon. You must use that old listing. What was the mistake, and why did you need to delete it? What couldn’t you have fixed? It isn’t very difficult to change a listing even if you made a mistake.

Hi Brian, well done. Can I ask, I am new to Amazon, and I am listing my products that we make ourselves, so new product listings. But I have made some mistakes, now I have deleted them all and want to start again. Can i still add them as new listings or will Amazon remember? I need to still use me barcodes and sku numbers. Thanks for any help, I tried to add one product again but it said.. is your product that same as (and showed me my old listing)

I bought my barcode from the barcode Mania website is it going to work for selling on Amazon or not?
