Hi Joe,

No, you don’t. You only need a trademark if you want to enroll in the Brand Registry.

You will need to create a new listing if you are sourcing products from Alibaba. We have lots of articles on creating listings and buying UPCs for launching new products.

I have gotten certain products from Alibaba to which I intend to select one to start with and gradually move up.

Please guide me on listing this product. I couldn’t even locate ASIN of products.

Hi Ali,

Yes, you can but I suggest creating a brand for your Amazon product. You will need to add a brand name in order to create the listing along with a UPC code.

Yes, you would create a new listing with a new UPC code. You can get the UPC from GS1.org.
